So if my blog was freaking working for the past…  You know I don’t even know how long it has not been working but…

Anyways if my post had been working you would know that I have been VERY VERY excited about GTA IV.  I think at some point before GTA IV came out I made a post about how I bought GTA:SA about one week before GTA IV came out because I needed a GTA fix (and btw I hated GTA:SA…  That’s how big the crave was).

I mean like when I go to work I can always trust that my friends will ask “So when is GTA coming out” (before it came out) or “How far are you in GTA?” (now that it is out).

I have been having quite some fun.

So right now I’m only 23% through.  Which frankly isn’t very far at all for owning the game since day one, but…  I’m the kind of person who is going to have the ultimate amount of fun in the game which means I’m not going to rush through the story line, and…  I’m going to fool around.

Until recently that just meant screwing around.  But now that I can do police missions that’s what I’m doing with my time.  And police missions are a super easy way to make easy money (of course money in this game after a certain point becomes useless - since you have so damn much after a certain point).

So I was doing…  Something and I discovered I now had access to helicopters!!!  So I start flying around.  And then I get this great idea.  I’d like to think I’m pretty good at running from the cops, but I just can’t get the outlast the cops for 5 minutes with a 6 star wanted level.  Soo…  Why not just fly around in the helicopter to get the achievement?

Frankly this was about 10 times easier then I even hoped for.  I figured the police helicopters would give me a hard time but no.  It was so easy.

So something came to mind (and the real reason I’m making this post).  What is with people?  Every person I know in real life goes “The helicopter is so hard to fly”, and I see the same comment online a ton.

Okay um…  The helicopter is NOT hard to fly.  Let me repeat that.  The helicopter is NOT hard to fly.  Infact I think it is easier to fly the helicopter then any previous GTA game.

I watched a guy going for the 5 minute achievement in the same way I did…  And I in the video he makes a comment about how “n00bs” shouldn’t be flying the helicopter.  Then I watch as he wabbles the poor helicopter all over the place, and nearly crashes about 40 times because he is flying way to close to the ground.

So then he nearly clips the top of a bridge, and I’m just rolling my eyes in disbelief.  Then he goes under a bridge.  That part had to be the best flying he did in the entire video.  So I’m starting to think he was just screwing around (with the wabble thing).  But tries to go under the bridge again and…  BAM!  Right into the bridge.  Now I’m not saying I could go under the bridge (I have yet to try), but I can tell you I wouldn’t crash the thing once trying to go under it (I would perfect it by going slowly under it until I could do it with my eyes closed).  What a clown.
